the first, one and only chibi fanart contest

everyone loves chibis. we here at H.I.N.T. know that the more chibis there are, the happier people are! [it's also rumored that ownership of a chibi increases life span, lowers blood pressure AND cures liver problems of all types!]
that's why, when trowa puppy [one of our resident chibis, of course] came to us with this idea, we gave him a BIG HUG! because CHIBIS ARE GOOD.

Contest Theme: Chibis + Anime Conventions [what does this mean?]
~The Contest~
As you hopefully surmised, this is a fanart chibi contest. I'll try to run a new one every few months.
There will be a new chibi theme for each contest. The winner will get their chibi on the front page of HINT, plus a HINT chibi of their choice and a nifty lil' badge. Finalists and runners up also get neat badges. Gee! X_x.
~The Rules~
1] Entries MUST BE CHIBI!
2] Entries CANNOT BE HENTAI! Chibis aren't perverts... ;_;.
3] Let's try to keep these one-chibi entries. If you have a really cute idea with your favourite pairing, go ahead and submit it, but remember: that basicly loses you the vote of everyone who dislikes that pairing.
4] Entries must be your OWN work. If you make the chibi with other people, please name EVERYONE who worked on it.
5] Entries must be SMALL. Come on people, let's save Yamato some bandwidth and space, here. I do put all chibis up on the site. Keep it smaller than 300x300 pixels. All right?
6] ONLY GUNDAM WING CHARACTERS ARE ALLOWED. However, this also means ALL Gundam Wing characters can be entered. Yes, that means Relena :D Not everyone voting hates her. We get plenty of Relena fans at this site, so your Relena chibis should do fine. :D:D
7] Yes, you can submit entires in the HINT chibi style. I won't get mad at you or anything. However, don't ask me how I CG them. I get that question too much... and the people who ask normally get sad because they don't have the program I have. Draw a HINT chibi if you like, but color it at your own discretion X_x.
8] Last one: only TWO entries maximum from any given artist. Let's be fair to everyone and to me. Kay? And make sure your entries follow the theme :p

Chibis are judged like this: judges will decide on ten finalists from all the entries. Those ten will be voted for by visitors to the site. After one week, the chibi with the most votes will win!

By chibis at anime conventions, i mean, what would chibis do at a convention? who'd they cosplay as? would they sit in line waiting for their seiyuu's autographs? would they just be attacked by random fangirls? would they put on a skit? what would they buy in the dealer's room?
^_^. There are tons of possibilites for this one. Start drawing your submissions now, have them ready for the contest's opening!
