NAOI - Supporting ALL you Gundam Fans!
we are now yaoi and non-yaoi friendly.
h.i.n.t. is many things. but one
thing we are NOT is discriminative against any gundam wing fan, yaoi or
non-yaoi!
I'm
sure it's obvious that I, the webmistress of H.I.N.T., am a yaoi fan. I
used to be the type of yaoi fan that hated all non-yaoi pairings, no matter
what. Hence, my intense hatred for Relena and stuff.
Well, since Otakon 2001, I changed my tune. Still a yaoi fan, but i accept non-yaoi now, as something a Gundam Wing fan simply can't ignore, deny, or push aside. The hints are there, as well as the hints are there for yaoi. If you feel you disagree or need to know more, read my Pretty Rant That Explains Why Nobody Is Right About Yaoi.
Back on track, I *AM* a yaoi fangirl.
Is H.I.N.T. a yaoi site, then?
NO!
I have spent time to clean up all
the random yaoi tidbits littering the site, and put big warnings on the
[very, very few] sections that obviously include yaoi. The only one I don't
warn about is GWMAMO - it mocks yaoi, non-yaoi, fangirls, fanboys, and
the thirty five billion duo fans out there. I happen to have a bit of all
of that stuff inside of me, so if I am not offended, you shouldn't be either.
Just laugh.
And I do NOT hate Relena because she gets in the way of Duo and Heero. I don't hate her at ALL. She *ANNOYS* me. BIG difference. Read my rant on that, too.
The promise I can give you is this: H.I.N.T. is a site for ALL gundam wing fans. It might be stupid, pointless, idiotic and made by a moron, but it's popular, and, although yaoi fans outnumber non-yaoi fans by a lot, if you compared the ratios, we get more non-yaoi hits than yaoi. I was always stunned that Endless Dream, heerosferret.com's forum, had more non-yaoi fans than yaoi, especially coming from a site created entirely by a yaoi fangirl.
Yaoi fans, it doesn't mean you also have to LOVE non-yaoi pairings. It simply means you ACCEPT them. As in, you don't sit there bashing their beliefs.
Non-yaoi fans...same thing, except take out the non's.
